Greetings from Robert, our new Director of Worship

For the past several years I have been praying for you. Yes, you. Meaning you: Desert Mission, and the things you stand for. While I might not have known you by name then, I've been praying for a place I could serve that not only would use all my skills, but a place that I could be myself and my family could be themselves. I wanted a place where I could serve that was known for the people we are FOR rather than who we are against. I wanted to serve in a place that was known for Jesus' Love rather than judgment. I wanted to be in a place that was for my family no matter how they choose to identify. And I wanted to be in a place that was for me, with all my faults.

While I hope that as I serve here and we get to know each other, that you'll find me to be a great blessing and addition to the leadership here… know that it is actually me who has received the greatest blessing to be here. Thank you, to all you who call yourselves a part of Desert Mission. Thank you for building a church for me to call home. I look forward to the most amazing future with you.
