Let’s Get Cooking
When you cook as a family (whether or not you have kids in your home), you get to spend valuable time together, work towards a shared goal that is clear and satisfying in its achievement, and make the kitchen a less mysterious and/or dangerous place for the less culinary members of your household (this includes both kiddos AND adults who may not be as kitchen-savvy as some of their peers!).
Click here for an article that includes 15 family-friendly recipes as well as tips on which steps are the most accessible for new chefs (feel free to imagine that phrase as an alternative every time you read the word "kids").
Cooking this way might take longer or create more of a mess, but it'll be worth it when you sit down to eat the meal you've made together. And please do sit down to eat together! When you pray over your meal, you can express gratitude for your blessings AND each other =)
Let us know if you try any of these recipes...and how it goes by leaving a comment on Facebook! If you have any other favorite dishes to prepare as a family, we invite you to share those as well. Bon Appetit!
