New Year’s Wishes

Christmas is upon us, which means the new year is near! Surely your family has wishes and prayers for what you hope the new year will bring, and there is a very special way to put them out into the world that we’d like to share with you.

If you’ve ever watched the ball drop in Times Square on New Year’s Eve, you’ve seen the literal ton of confetti that drops along with it. But it isn’t ordinary confetti: it’s actually people’s wishes! This “wishfetti” has been dropped every year since 2015, and this year your family’s wishes can be included.

For those who may find themselves in New York City, now or next winter, you can visit the mobile Wishing Wall in Times Square beginning on December 1, where you can write your wishes on slips of paper in person. The rest of us can submit them online! The form is extremely simple, and you have until December 28th to complete it; after that, your wishes will be included in the following year’s confetti.

Not only is the Wishing Wall free, anyone can do it, from anywhere around the world. So gather your wishes, hopes, and prayers, and send them in, and when you watch the ball drop, you’ll know that somewhere in the blanket of confetti are your wishes, mixed with everyone else’s, on their way to becoming reality.

We hope the new year brings you everything you hope for. If you’d like to share your wishes with us as well, you can do so on our Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.
