Online Volunteer Sign-Up!

We are transitioning towards a paperless volunteer sign-up process! We are not paperless YET, but we now have an online sign-up option and would like to encourage everyone to try it out. During the service today, we walked you through the process and shared a QR code for the online sign-up form. Flyers with the QR code on them are posted around the church. The video captured during today’s worship service, which walks you through the online sign-up process, is now available as well. We invite you to watch the video and read through the below instructions if you didn’t get to hear it live.

When you view the form, you’ll be able to scroll through all of the service opportunities from November 2024 to January 2025. Select the slots you'd like to take by clicking "Sign Up" next to each one. A pop up that says "Save and Continue" will show up as soon as you choose one, but you can wait to click it until you're done choosing all the slots you want to take.

When you’re ready to make your sign-ups official, click "Save and Continue" and you'll be prompted to enter your name and email. Click "Sign Up Now" and you're done!

As we transition to a more streamlined sign-up process, we hope to lessen the work it takes to manage these service opportunities. You can help with that by entering the dates you’ve chosen into your calendar so you won’t be surprised when they approach. If you forget, you can always visit the form again to check what you signed up for. In the week leading up to each of your slots, you’ll receive an automated reminder from SignUp Genius as well as an email from Christine with that Sunday’s service material. If you need to swap dates, you are responsible for finding someone to trade with, then notifying Christine of the change.

So try out the form and see how it goes! If you run into trouble, please reach out to Jen, Pastor Michael, or Christine. And if you’d still prefer to use the paper form, at least for this quarter, you can still do so – your information will be added to the online form by a member of the church staff and you will receive the same notifications as everyone else.
