Foothills Animal Rescue thanks Desert Mission

Dear Friends,

Thank you for your recent gift of $300.00. Your support of Foothills Animal Rescue (FAR) allows us to accomplish our mission of helping homeless pets in our community.

Spuddy arrived at FAR when his pet parent lost her job as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. If that wasn't enough, she also lost her home. Her only choice was a rental that did not allow pets.

 We agreed to take the big tabby cat and our hearts ached when his mom handed us a baggie filled with treats, toys and a small green comb. The bag was labeled, "Spuddy's Favorite Things. "Spuddy wasn't with us long. A family fell in love with him shortly after he went up for adoption. We even received a video of them grooming Spuddy with his favorite green comb. And of course, his previous owner was delighted with the outcome. Your kindness and generosity make it possible for us to help pets like Spuddy.With your support, we can help dogs and cats (and their families) who have been displaced due to COVID-19 or other unforeseen circumstances . · Thank you!
