School Backpack Drive
Wait - school just ended and we’re already talking about backpacks and school?
YES!!
Desert Mission Family, we are reaching out to you to help out with our yearly drive for Wesley Golden Gate Community Center. (https://wesleycenterphx.org/golden-gate-community-wesley-health-center)
Our goal is to help fulfill their need for 250 backpacks and school supplies for all of the children they serve by Sunday, June 27, 2021. You can buy a backpack and fill it with supplies or simply donate individual items. See list of needed school supplies below.
Please be advised that there are several ways to contribute. You can make a cash donation, drop off items in the bin located at the church, or buy the backpacks online with delivery to Desert Mission. Be sure to designate “Backpacks” on any cash, check, or credit card donations made to the church.
All donations will be delivered to Wesley Community Health Center that following week.
